Thanks for your comments! The reason it is the time it is on, is to accomodate for the Presenters who are coming up from Sydney. Plus the event has been advertised in plenty of time for people who wish to come, they can ask for the times off

Stupid to hold this event during business hours, you’ve just successfully excluded every student who has a job.

If you are going to be providing pizza, 5-7pm makes far more sense.
